Suzanne will join Ashneil Jeffers (youth an environmentalist from Montserrat Caribbean); Mary Anne Hitt (National Director of Campaigns at the Sierra Club) and Alex Rhodes (Head of Mishcon Purpose at Mishcon de Reya) in the second shado magazine x Mishcon de Reya series exploring Displacement and Exploitation in the Climate Crisis.

In this event, we will look specifically at calls for decarbonisation and working towards a future without coal, this event will unpick some of the current debates around the topic, and how and if decarbonisation can ever equate to climate justice. "As the world community struggles to stop global warming, how should the costs of adaptation and mitigation be shared between developed and developing countries? How can the imperative for decreasing inequality and enhancing development in the Global South be met at the same time as reducing emissions?"
